Kids love it
Taking bunch of over excited kids to soccer practice is always a challenge. I started playing "All the right moves" in the car and it got them engaged from start. They are pumped up when they reach the field and they try to practice the routines at home. Producers have done good job at keeping kids engaged while showing them the techniques.

My Kids Love it!
We got this DVD a couple months back, and my kids have watched it dozens of times. They practice the moves in front of the TV, then they go in the yard and prctice on each other for hours on end. Great Job guys!

FROM THE AUTHOR
An emotionally charged tournament in Argentina where the Dutch came up just short again against the home team in 1978. Italy played with great skill and discipline in 1982 to beat the exceptional Argentinians, Brazilians and Germans. 1986 brought one of the finest tournaments in history and the genius of Maradona as Argentina swept through to the Final where they met the masters of pressure West Germany.

US Soccer's Proudest Moment
Whether you stayed up till the wee hours of the morning to watch our first match of the 2002 World Cup against HEAVILY favored Portugal, who at the time were ranked 4th in the world, or not, this DVD is a must for any supporter of real Football. Re-live us going 3 nil up on the Portugeese as Figo and company could do nothing, Clint Mathis' settling then hammering of our first strike that temporarily silenced the partisan Korean crowd, the EXPECTED thrashing of Mexico, (we've been running them ragged since the early 90's), and the heartache of the wrongly disallowed goal we put in against Germany that sent us home, (thanks Hugh Dallas, grrr). There was a match vs. Poland too, aparently...I think, (-; ...it's here as well and it looks like we lost that one??? (The cover of this DVD has Landon Donovan celebrating a goal against the Poles that was called off-sides! Oops).
Arena, Donovan, Reyna, Friedel and company laid the Fluke of '98 to rest, making this DVD worth every cent to Americans who love the beautiful game. Now we have to follow through by qualifying for Germany '06 and doing better than 2002. Come on you boys in white!!!

The Fundamentals of Soccer with Stinky Shoe & Coach LaRoo

Coaching parts good, animation just okay.
This instructional DVD/Tape works well at its primary purpose - to teach some fundamentals of soccer. The animations/cartoon part with Stinky Shoe and the coach are average at best and just plain stupid at worst (they probably account for 10-15% of the tape). My 7 yr old son even commented on how inane the animated parts were. This tape is best for a VERY young audience -say 6 yrs old and under.

Head Coach of Milwaukee Wave United, Art Kramer
This video really executes the two qualities that I teach everyday in my camps - having fun in a learning environment.

Endorsed by Head Coach of the Milwaukee Wave, Keith Tozer
Being involved in soccer for more than 25 years, I have found the "Stinky Shoe & Coach LaRoo" video to be a wonderful fun and educational teaching tool for families and children who are just beginning their soccer careers.

This video is great because it recaptures plays in important soccer games and records soccer history and styles of play that will become soccer history. I would love to see other unique games like the 1979 WORLD CUP with the Netherlands team (many of whom were killed in a terrible plane cash.) Their style of play was unique and was taught by one of the most innovative soccer coaches of that time.

Soccer Secrets Complete Boxed Set
I purchased the set for help with coaching a U14 team. I was somewhat disappointed in the actual technical content of DVDs. This is definetly for beginner coaches, even the advance tape was on the simplistic side. I purchased the Coerver and Vogelsinger series prior to buying this collection and those two are hard acts to follow. If you want some mildly inspirational and simplistic technical instruction buy Soccer Secrets. But I feel there are much better options out there Coerver/Vogelsinger). Good for the girls not so good for coaches!

3 hours is not enough for over 120 years
Don't let me put you off by only giving this DVD 3 stars, It is a very good DVD, but the 3 hours may seem a lot to a few people but it only seemed to brush over a lot of the history. For someone has been watching and loving Manchester United for the last 20 years, there just wasn't enough on the field action, even the Treble year was not more than a few goals, I know you have to cut a lot out to fit to three hours but maybe they could have split it into more than one DVD. But saying that I still liked it as a documentary...... But I need more Action!!!

Not worth the money
I'm a soccer junkie, and I suppose I did get my fix. But this product did not blow me out of the water, and as such, recieves 2 stars.

1) It's expensive ($30).

2) 2 hours long. For the $ should have gotten a double DVD with at least 3 hours, I figure.

3) Broadcast-quality picture. Not DVD-caliber. Imagine my angst.

4) UK bias in the reporting and time appropriation.

5) Got the 'Highlights' on purpose -- wanted to follow the storylines. If I wanted all the Goals, I would have gotten the 'Goals' DVD.

Be ready for lotsa Spice Boy facetime + goals. That's all this Eurotrash has.
