Governing Bodies Movie Reviews

Reviewer idiocy
A great representation of an old classic porn!!

One of the finest stories ever told!Thank you to the writer and director and the players!!
This has a fabulous cast and incredible score.

Mislabeled ComedyHowever, this story is much more dramatic than anything comedic. I've seen the movie more than a dozen times and am always drawn to Fonda's loneliness, Roth's apathy, Stoltz's self-assurance, and Cate's empathy.
Coupled with a deeply emotional soundtrack, "Bodies, Rest and Motion" is a MUST HAVE. It's about time (10 years) this movie was sent to DVD!
But, when the studio says that these characters are "hilariously intertwined," don't believe it!
Bodies, Rest & MotionAlthough the plot is relatively simple, the dialogue and scenes move along smartly, and I am a fan of the four actors. The chemistry between Bridget Fonda and Eric Stoltz is seamless, perhaps because they used to be married to each other in real life.
Tim Roth is great as the disgruntled TV salesman, and Phoebe Cates does a superb job playing the sane one of the group...
Great character study

Beautiful Asian women getting nekked! There is not a word of English, dubbed or subtitled, but perhaps this is a good thing. It adds to the exoticness of these gorgeous girls. I should add that a few of the girls really don't seem too comfortable with what they are doing, and that is something I can't ignore. One girl in particular looks just plain out of her element and to make things worse, someone behind the scenes is squirting her with a watergun to make her wet. She is clearly uncomfortable with this.
If you fast-forward through that sort of thing, you are sure to be stunned by some truly beautiful young women.
A good primer for this type of dvd

One of Playboy's best DVD releasesThis video structure is a bit different from the regular Playboy DVD/video release, as it has 7 or 8 video segments, each being 7 or 8 minutes long, in comparison to most Playboy videos having 10 to 12 segments, each being 4 or 5 mintues long.
It is a bit older of a video as it originally came out in 1996, but it remains among my favorites, even in comparison to many of the newest releases.
If you've seen every Playboy video but this one, it's a worthy addition to your collection. If you're just starting your collection, it's a good choice to begin with.

Bad movies, bad quality, the cover is the best partVideo and audio quality are not up to par, not to mention the content contained on the DVD's.
Poor "acting" from a few (now) big name stars, with even poorer plots.
The cover to the DVD is the best part of the deal.
Great value for 4 low-quality camp moviesSo why 4 stars? The quality is good enough to watch the movies without significant distraction, and the lack of reproduction quality actually kind of adds to the "feel" of watching old campy movies. And most importantly, [money](the price when this was written) for 4 movies on DVD is an absolute [bargain].
Important point: "The Harrad Experiment" included in this set is the full uncensored original version (Rated R, 97 minutes), not the 'edited for TV' version which is all that's available on standalone DVD and VHS today.
There are also a number of well-known actors in these movies, often in roles before they became famous.
Included on this 2 DVD set (each movie is on one side of a DVD):
"Seniors" (1978) with Dennis Quaid and Priscilla Barnes. Four students open a bogus sex clinic for cheap thrills and then are amazed to see it blossom into a profitable business
"Getting Wasted" (1980) with David Caruso. Cadets at a military academy get involved with the 60's drug culture.
"Secrets of Sweet Sixteen" (AKA "Sweet 16" - 1981) with Bo Hopkins, Patrick McNee and Larry Storch. Why are all the boys dying to meet Melissa?
"The Harrad Experiment" (1973) with James Whitmore, Tippy Hedren, Bruno Kirby, Don Johnson (plus if you look, you can find Melanie Griffith, Gregory Harrison, and Fred Willard). At the coed Harrad College the students experience a college policy of sexual freedom.

"Sex without bodies" is not a movie ... it is an audio only recording -- using the DVD video format. As the Amazon documentation notes it is a PCM 2 channel deal, not the 5.1 which "flowerboy" asserts.
I wonder if the "boy" was out there with the Protocols reviews.
