Street Ball - The And 1 Mix Tape Tour
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (08 April, 2003)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
So who was on the team roster of 2002's 25-city Mix Tape Tour of less-than-elegant hoops? "The best ballers not in the league," says one of the tour's den mother/producer types, referring to such instinctive, street-smart-though-not-quite-NBA caliber basketball players as Ao, Hot Sauce, Skip to My Lou, and the Main Event. This eight-episode documentary series about the And 1 team's summertime goodwill pass through Boston, Cleveland, New York, and elsewhere is dazzling entertainment, a showcase for the guys' collective charm, well-earned hubris, and sense of fellowship with home ballers everywhere. Much of the footage is off-court: life on the bus, endless radio interviews, clowning with the public, demonstrating for kids. The ordinary stuff is often more fun than the court activity. A second disc includes the team's complete game in Atlanta. --Tom Keogh

This has stuff. It is rad and it has cool skaters like...alex gall(trainwreck), evan hernandez, and cris cole no plot line... but cool trix...ummmmmmmmm trix. Could use some special features.

Skate border movies are to my liking, and I think more people should watch them. Because they are amazing and amusing.

Treadmoves: Total Body Sports Conditioning

Love it !
I have been working out on my treadmill for about 4 years now. I went from listening to music to watching TV while walking on it. I was getting bored with the same routine. Then I found out through the internet that this DVD excists. I was very hesitant to buy it, because I got burned before buying fitness tapes without viewing them first.
If you are looking for an easy to follow workout DVD for the treadmill, this is it. I was able to get the moves on the first try (which usually is not the case for me). The time flies and I get a total body workout. I like the fact that I can adjust the speed and intensity of the workout to my liking, without missing a beat. Great for all levels of fitness.
I also bought the other Treadmoves DVD. I have a bit of a hard time with the side step shuffles. My treadmill is not as wide as theirs and I am afraid to fall. Maybe with some practice I will be more comfortable to do this move. All in all not as easy to follow, therefore is not as much fun for me.

Ultimate Fitness for Martial Arts
Released in DVD by (01 September, 2002)

Excellent quantity, lesser quality
There are an astonishing number of drills and techniques presented here. They are divided into the following categories: Speed, Agility, Timing, Power, Stength, Stamina, Flexibility, Reflexes, Coordination.

However, there are no multi-camera angles or slow motion presentations. Production values are adequate but not even close to state-of-the-art. The narrated descriptions are terse and the accent of the narrator makes it a bit hard to understand. The presentation of the material is quite fast paced. This DVD's value to the beginner is limited in that there are no modifications show for less flexible beginners and no hints on how to work up to the full technique.

With these limitations in mind, this DVD presents a treasure trove of valuable information. With a bit more effort Turtle Press could have achieved near perfection. Sang Kim is an amazing athlete and martial artist--he definately has the "right stuff".

Very Good DVD for the novice and intermediate students. Master Kim breaks down the techniques in digestible portions so that the student can follow along.

Waterlogged

Starring: Bruce Brown-Golden Years of Su and Bruce Brown

Remember When...
If you are considering buying a Bruce Brown film other than The Endless Summer or Endless Summer II, this is a great place to start. Think of it as a "Greatest Hits" of his Golden Age of Surf Collection. You get a taste of each of the previous films and a chance to feel what surfing was really like in the 50's & 60's. No Frankie & Annette here - Just a group of guys having fun and inadvertently pioneering a new sport. Be sure to catch the cameos of then unknown names that are now surf legends. Enjoy! - and then get the rest...(but get "Surf Crazy" next!)

WWE King of the Ring 2000
Released in DVD by WWF HOME VIDEO/TITAN SPORTS (04 December, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: The Rock, Chris Jericho, and Vince McMahon
The World Wrestling Federation's King of the Ring production is an annual pay-per-view extravaganza, and this summer 2000 edition features a one-night tournament, a few bizarre matches (such as one weird tussle between two aging wrestlers, both of them male, attired in evening gowns), and a six-man tag team match to decide the WWF championship. As would be expected, there are also plenty of interviews with the wrestlers, and some backstage soap opera action. The crowd at Boston's Fleet Center joyously boos its lungs out when egged on by heels like Kurt Angle, a muscle-bound Eddie Haskell who can't let anyone forget he won a real Olympic gold medal. What's billed as a "Handicap Table Dumpster Match" involving the Dudley Boyz features the villainous brothers being beaten senseless with metal folding chairs and stuffed into a Dumpster filled with garbage. But that hardly ends things. "Those Damned Dudleyz" soon escape their purgatory in the Dumpster and deliver nasty chair shots of their own to their stupefied opponents. The big match that concludes the three-hour event involves Triple H, the Undertaker, the Rock, Kane, and two members of the McMahon family, Shane and Vince, and has plenty of plot twists, betrayals, and even some interludes of wrestling before one man finally stands supreme. --Robert J. boring, Bull kicked Crashes ass but somehow crash won 4/10

4th Kurt Angle vs Y2J
very good match, the crowd was really into it 10/10

5th Hardyz vs 2cool vs Edge/Christian vs TNA

6th Rikishi vs Val Venis
short match,Val injures Rikishi 5/10

7th Kurt Angle vs Crash

11th The Rock/Kane/Undertaker vs HHH/Shane/Vince
good match i loved it when Undertaker chokeslam Shane threw the annoucers table from the turnbuckle 9/10

worst KOTR.
The KOTR tournament matches [were not good]. Two dqs Rikishi vs. Benoit and 'Kish vs. Val Venis. Crash beats Bull Buchanon. Kurt Angle beats Crash and Kurt Angle beats Rikishi.Hardcore Evening gown match Patterson vs. Briscoe was horrible thank god Crash ran out and pinned Patterson to win the hardcore title. E&C beat Too Cool, T&A and the Hardy Boyz in a fatal fourway elimination match to regain the tag team titles. DX(Road Dogg, X-Punk and Tori) beat the Dudleyz in a 3-on-2 handicap table dumpster match.Tori goes through the table afterward. Thr Rock pins Vince in a six man tag team match to win the WWF Title. Others involved were Shane,HHH,Undertaker and Kane. Undertaker chokeslams Shane from the top rope through the announce table. Why was it a six man tag match? Why not have Kane,Undertaker,Triple H and the Rock battle in a four way dance? Go figure Vince loves to put himself in the spot light along with Shane. Hunter lost the title and he wasn't involved in the final decision. As much as I hate Triple H , a singles title should never be on the line in any kind of tag team match, same goes for the tag straps, they should not be on the line in singles matches. Let the titles be up for grabs in their approprate matches. Triple H deserved a rematch the next night on RAWor at Fully Loaded, but he was destracted by Jericho to fight for the title. He should have won the title then faced Jericho in a title defense. Triple H is the Game and he did not deserve to have his title put on the line,in that situation, right Linda. Sometimes Linda is like a mother at a PTA meeting. She is the Marge Simpson of the WWF.

Not as good as expected
This Pay-Per-View was OK. Not it's a good rainy day PPV good. Just OK Saturday night good.

KOR Quarterfinals:

Chris Benoit vs. Rikishi---2/10
Val Venis vs. Eddie Guerrero---7/10

Crash vs. Kurt Angle---5/10

Evening-Gown Match For Hardcore Title:
Pat Patterson vs. Gerald Brisco---1.5/10

Handicap Table Dumpster Match:

Good Golf is Easy
Released in DVD by (26 November, 2001)
MPAA Rating:

Good Golf is Easy
Don't waster your money on this DVD. The picture quality and content are both very low quality. The movie's age shows (made in the 80s) and the there are far better instructional golf videos on the market. Whether you are novice or expert, if you want to improve your swing, you are better off spening your money on the driving range than than purchasing this DVD.

It's a dated DVD/Video
It's really not a good investment, because it's and old video, image quality it's not the best and it's not really covering much on the golf instruction. Probably only good for a person who's never played before.

good golf could be better
that's for sure...but it's still definitely a good buy. For what it's worth, I was entertained. I actually watched most of this 3 hour program and did gain valuable insight from a european approach to life -- and how they translate that into their golf game.
