Crusty Demons of Dirt, Vol. 1

MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Ryan Hughes and Jeremy McGrath

Seth rules
As anyone who rides dirt bikes will know, Crusty rules. From the insanity of the jumps to the quality crazy juice action from pubs and parties, this is class. The only reason not to get this is because you spend all your cash riding. Mountain bikers love it too!!! Only 4 stars as it is not as dope as Crusty 2,3,4,5 or 6.

Classic Greatness
This video set the standard for all moto-x videos to follow! By far one of the best extreme sports videos ever made. Jeremy Mcgrath is spectacular as always! Well worth your money and your time!

Hook N Shoot "Revolution"

BAD GIRLS!!!!
THIS DVD WILL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY!!! THESE WOMEN ARE THE BEST FEMALE FIGHTERS I HAVE SEEN!!THERE IS NO DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THE WOMEN AND THE MEN BECAUSE THESE WOMEN FIGHT JUST HAS HARD IF NOT HARDER THAN THE MEN AND THAT SIMPLY BECAUSE HAS FEMALE FIGHTERS THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE TO THE PUBLIC AND THE M.M.A. INDUSTRY..SO WHEN YOU SEE THEM FIGHT THEY ARE EXPLOSIVE!! THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE DVD IS THAT THE FIGHTS ARE FAST BUT STILL VERY GOOD..

who says women can't fight
Hook N Shoot took a big gamble by having the first ever all women's MMA card in North American history. After watching this DVD, you will have to agree that the gamble paid off big time. 7 fights in all with only one going past the first round. People who say women MMA fighters have no skill will be forced to shut their mouths after watching this event. All 14 women show amazing heart and they show some pretty impressive skills levels too. The main event has Debi Purcell, my favorite female fighter, taking on Chris Van Fleet. An excellent event that would be a shame if missed.

Mischief 3000
Released in DVD by Xtreme Entertainment (29 October, 2002)
MPAA Rating: Unrated

I actually liked this video
Found this at my local video store.
The description is in a prior review.
It actually made me go out and buy the other 2 Mischief titles-a mistake since this is the only one out of the three that is any good.
Nonetheless, if you like exotic cars this is a fun video to watch - a Cannonball Run documentary of sorts.

Good DVD if ure into it
Ok this film is footage is from something known as the Gumball Rally whitch is a rally that goes from the East coast to the West coast in 5 days and is a total of 3000 miles long.

In this video you will tons of Exsotic Cars. theres everything from 60's corvettes all the way up to a Ferrari F-50. All being put threw there paces.

In addion to this there are serveral chapters that reflect on the previous Mischife Video thats shows your althenic street racing.

ALso includes footage from the Car and Driver Super Tuner challenge. whitch includes cars such as the Autothoirty Stage 5 911 turbo, and the 800hp Linginfelter Corvette.

And this whole video is set to yet another great soundtrack consisting of Punk Rock and the very best Trance/Techno you'll hear.

Hope this helps....

New World Disorder 3 Freewheel Burning (Mountain Bike)

Average review score:

great movie
Disorder 3 is one of the best mtn bike movies i have see it has single track huge drops huge jumps and awsome music

Best DVD period
This DVD is insane! It has it all, amazing sound track, insane stunts, the best riders, excellent camera angles, amazing picture quality, no stupid " plot " crap or clips of Jackass type stuff ( but there are some unedited songs and girls in skimpy oufits, and swimsuit bottoms and wet T-Shirts ) , HUGE dirt jumps and tricks ( backfips, indian airs, the good stuff ) with John Cowan and Timo Pritzel, race footage of Cedric Gracia and Anne-Caroline Chaussen, freeride with Richie Schley, Wade Simmons, Josh Bender, Dave Watson, Robbie Bourdon, Kyle Strait ect., 2002 Red Bull Rampage footage, North Shore footage, a Wade Simmons section, a crash section, and a clip of Wade Simmons and Bender sessioning the insanley huge road gap over the Marzocchi truck. Mountain Bike Action recently asked a Hollywood Stunt agency how much a movie company would pay for the stunt to be in their movie, and they answered a $150,000 U.S! That's a quarter MILLION dollars Canadian! That's Insane! The bottom line is if you wan't the best MTB movie or wan't to see How insane mountain biking can be, GET IT! The only thing that comes close is Kranked 5.

Pride FC 3 - From the Nippon Budokan
Released in DVD by Brentwood Communications (16 October, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Pride Fc, K Sakuraba, and C Newton
Average review score:

Interesting show
Pride 3 was on June 24, 1998 at the Nippon Budokan

The first fight is between Lumax Cup 1997 and Pride veteran Akira Shoji and in his MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) debut Daijiro Matsui. This was a great fight and I would like to see a rematch.

The second fight is between UFC 3 veteran Emmanuel Yarborough and in his MMA debut Daiju Takase. Terrible fight but the ending is good.

The third fight is between UFC Japan Tournament winner and Pride veteran Kazushi Sakuraba and Extreme Fighting 2, Japan Vale Tudo and UFC 17 veteran Carlos Newton. This is the best fight of the show.

The fourth fight is between UFC 8 finalist and IVC 1 Tournament winner Gary Goodridge and in his MMA debut Amir Rahnavardi. Good and brutal fight.

The fifth fight is between UFC 14 and 15 heavyweight tournament winner and WVC 3 tournament winner Mark Kerr and International Vale Tudo Championship and Universal Vale Tudo veteran Pedro Otavio. Ok fight but this was mismatch.

The main event is between Pride 1 veteran Nobuhiko Takada and in his MMA debut Kyle Sturgeon. Short fight but decent.

I recommend for who like Pride.

The best NHB promtion in the world!
Matches are: Pedro Otavio vs Mark Kerr,
Carlos Newton vs Sakuraba,
Akira Shoji vs Shunsuki Matsui,
Emanual Yarbrough vs Daijyu Takaso,
Gary Goodridge vs Amir,
Kyle Sturgeon vs Takada

Ride BMX Magazine Presents Industry
Released in DVD by Redline Entertainment -- Red - (22 May, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, and Jason Enns

Industry Video
I'm a big fan of BMX and I especially like riders who aren't super famous so I liked this video a lot. I got to see my favorite rider, Seth Kimbrough. This is rare because with guys like Mirra, Hoffman, and Nyquist dominating the sport, the lil guys don't get to shine much. That's not the case with "Industry" because I get to see some of my favorite, sometimes under-rated, riders.

great bmx flik!!
i love this movie it has the best riding from dave and the team i like that it has a lot of riders in a lot of movies that dave was in he takes the spot lite.
i like to that there is a lot of riding (dirt, vert, street no flat) and i love it a lot!
i wish amazon had more bmx videos thougt but i think that they have a good thing going.

Surf Crazy
Released in DVD by Image Entertainment (14 August, 2002)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Bruce Brown-Golden Years of Su and Bruce Brown
The second film by the grandfather of surf movies, Bruce Brown, Surf Crazy focuses on a surfing trip to Mexico in 1959, a time when surfing was so obscure that most of the Mexicans encountered along the Pacific shoreline had no idea why the crazy young Americans had long wooden boards strapped to the roof of their red Ford station wagon. The big problem with being a pioneer is that the subjects of Brown's film couldn't ask anyone where the good surfing spots were, so much of the film consists of the Americans riding rough, unmarked roads in search of worthwhile waves. Brown appears on camera to explain that when this film was first shown in venues around California, he would appear onstage and narrate it. And a recording of his original narration, full of jokes both quirky and corny, accompanies the color film footage in this version. The film itself sometimes shows its age, as scratches flicker past, but the color is vibrant and the footage of surfers in an utterly pristine environment is often riveting. The second half of the film took Brown and his trusty camera to Hawaii, where surfers hit the waves at gorgeous Waimea Bay. Surf Crazy captures a beautiful, golden era in the history of surfing, and even those who have never stepped on a board will find it very entertaining. --Robert J. McNamara

Lets Do The Time Warp Again!
Of all the non-"Endless Summer" films in the Bruce Brown Golden Years of Surf Collection, this one has always been my favorite. This is my third time to purchase this movie (my previous two VHS copies were worn out from use at parties). It lacks everything a "quality" film requires - and yet it beats the mainstream by a mile. If you want to feel like you were there (Mazatlan or the North Shore) and you love vintage surf movies, this is it. Pure, honest, classic. This is a must for true soul surfers. (Why only 4 stars? Two words: "Endless Summer" - only ES gets a 5.)

Surf Crazy
Even before Endless Summer, Bruce Brown was Surf Crazy. You don't even have to be a surfer to get totally stoked off of this DVD. Brown's expert and comic commentary show both his love of surfing and the intimate knowledge he has of the sport and those who ride the waves. This vintage 1959 footage follows four surfers to uncharted breaks in Mexico and then takes us to Hawaii where we are completely in awe of the huge swells. Along the way, Brown takes us on an adventure and introduces us to some of the most unforgettable characters that ever stood on a beach. Brown himself makes a personal appearance to comment on the film. Good thing he's not known for his acting, and the video camera sways a bit... but who cares? Let him have his five minutes on camera. The rest is dedicated to fun and adventure, with a crisp soundtrack that keeps you in the mood. I watched it with a smile the entire time - ooing and awing at some great wipe outs and amazed at how well these guys surfed on those old balsa boards without leashes and scags the size of car hoods. This DVD definitely stoked me and I can't wait to get out in the water in the morning! Shaka!

NHL - Ultimate Gretzky
Released in DVD by Warner Home Video (27 January, 2004)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Wayne Gretzky
Average review score:

Need more...
Like the other poster said, the video is lacking. There is more time devoted to camera shots in that tropical room than there is to highlights, which, if I recall is the reason this DVD was possible in the first place. I was expecting much more footage, particularly from the Edmonton days. Lots of great stories that could have been delved into, but they weren't even acknowledged.

Why Keifer Sutherland is involved is beyond me. Maybe he's hockey fan, so what? A narrator over the video would have been fine.

Also, you might think 2 discs means lots of footage, but what you have is the wedding fantasy camp, bloopers...the only good things on it are the last game in Canada and the last game, but those are on the first disc.

It seems whoever put this together wanted to show they can package something, and they would rather tell people how great Gretzky was, rather than show it. Case in point: he got 200 points 4 times and they spend about 15 seconds on that fact.

I would recommending purchasing something else as a gift. This collection is not going to satisfy anyone who grew up in those days and wants footage. The SportsCentury on ESPN Classic will give you just as much.

Lacking, but still great
There is something lacking about this DVD. It's hard to put your finger on, but after watching it, I felt slightly unfulfilled by it. It has some great Gretzky footage, but there is no question they have more. If anything, I would say this DVD is short on footage. Don't get me wrong, there is some terrific footage here, some that I had never seen before (I also own the Above and Beyond video), but there no high-lights of brilliant passes to Kurri; Gretzky doing ridiculous stuff on the penalty kill, stuff I was hoping for. They also managed to gloss over like four or five years in Edmonton. They talk about winning the first cup, then they just show a montage of the Oilers hoisting three more. Not a single shot of him in a Blue's Uniform, not much about the King's either. That being said, it is still a great DVD and I highly reccomend you purchase it.

Just bought it today and wow
Finally something comes out for hockey on DVD. This is a good start for any hockey fan out there. Although Wayne did eliminate my leafs in 93' I still think is the greatest player. The shocking part was that Wayne never passed any of his physicals and that proved knowledge of the game might be more than strength.

It has game footage dont worry about that. I was worried it was going to be all commentary and interviews of Wayne. It has footage of a couple of clips in certain games.
My brother loved Gretzky he was his idol and mine was Cujo(Blues, Oilers, and Leafs then I stopped liking him since he left them). I started to watch hockey because of my brother and was cheering for the kings in 93'(but since then I have been a leaf fan so I wish it went the other way).
Oiler Years for sure was Gretzky's best years. They have to give credit to Jarri Kurri, Glen Anderson, Mark Messier, Kevin Lowe, and Grant Fuhr for greta years.

The overal dvd has so much stuff I have not seen it all yet. I watched it for 2 hours and not done yet. I give it a ranking of 9/10 or 5/5. Go Leafs GO and Oilers
