Munda Movie Reviews

An ultra-naughty Misty Mundae performance

Some really hot moments!
An impressive dramatic performance by Misty MundaeWhile one sees plenty of Misty in her birthday suit throughout this film, An Erotic Vampire in Paris is really not very sexually explicit. There is really only one scene involving the sort of provocative lesbian encounters one is accustomed to in a film of this sort. Thus, the viewer just wanting to see soft porn may well be disappointed. As a horror fan, I was quite impressed with the look and feel of the vampiric blood feasts. Copia does a great job of bearing her fangs and impaling them on the tender necks of her victims, and there is a satisfying amount of blood as a result. Still, though, I would classify this as drama more than erotic horror. The range of emotions shown by Misty Mundae distinguishes her as a serious dramatic actress, and it is her wonderful performance that makes this film as compelling and mesmerizing as it most certainly is.
Misty Mundae Is GREAT!Thank you GOD! For creating Misty!

My Vampire LoserI don't, but I appreciate that this is a better film, if only because these two have less to do with this film - Jim's moved to producer role, & Darien has only a small role in this - ...
If you like women with fake boobs (there's one here who looks like she's upsized), and a succession of mild and poinless lesbian scenes, then this is for you.
Our poor heroine is a bit of a loser, she screws a bevvy of women, drains them, then has an angst session about it.
The finale confrontation is the only laughable moment of the film, and that's unintentional
I really liked some scenes in this one!
It has Misty Mundae in it!!...

Good Times!Laurie Wallace plays Amy, a young woman who takes a vacation with her boyfriend Bill (Major Dodge) to her hometown to get away from "the city" for a while. While visiting a quaint antique shop, she finds a strange mirror and goads her man into buying it for her. Once she gets it home she discovers Darian Caine is trapped inside it and makes whoever looks into the mirror do "naughty" things. Being the inquisitive gal that she is, she takes it to her old friend (A.J. Khan) who just happens to be a doctor (see, cuz she wants the mirror examined). After discovering what happens when looking into the mirror, the doctor lady decides that since she's a "professional" she should keep the mirror for further examination (frankly, I think she needs to examine her nurse, played by the odd Mistress Rhiannon, who looks like a melted piece of plastic with HUGE...uh..."dirty pillows"). Amy nixes the doctor's "mirror exam,", and hauls the mirror back out to her car. Lots of other mysterious things happen in the movie, but to reveal them would be to spoil the fun. Misty Mundae, Jade DuBoir, and Ruby LaRocca are all featured in the film, and Debbie Rochon even makes a cameo appearance.
This movie is directed by Pete Jacelone, who also directed the wild and crazy Psycho Sisters, a much different film. Interestingly, viewers of both films may notice the the building used as the Sperm Bank in Psycho Sisters is the same one used in the Erotic Mirror as A.J. Khan's Immediate Care Clinic. Both films also feature an impatient guy with both hands wrapped up being annoying in the waiting room. Just a useless tidbit of information.
The DVD of THE EROTIC MIRROR features THREE sets of behind-the-scenes hijinks, a "Talent Rehearsal Session" which basically is just Laurie Wallace and Major Dodge with the director, rehearsing the scene where the couple finds the mirror. Also included are trailers of other Seduction Cinema films available on DVD.

A "Different" Erotic Thriller

The Worst Movie I've Ever Seen In My Entire LifeWow, I mean, there arent enough words in the english language to describe the absolute agony we went through watching this movie. Do not buy it.
Please!
Therefore we agree with the earlier poster--0 stars, or negative 5 stars, if possible.
Thanks...

another great parody from Seduction CinemaIt's the distant future. After awaking from a long hyper-sleep aboard their space shuttle, three beautiful astronauts, Commander Gaylor (Seduction Cinema's poster girl Misty Mundae), Lt. Fornication (newcomer Sharon Engert), and Lt. Pushkintucushkin (adult internet star Anoushka) accidentally push a wrong button and crash land on a mysterious planet. After trudging through the hot desert/forest, the trio discover that the planet is ruled by human-hating apes. The apes are convinced that humans have no soul, as the few humans that also populate their planet cannot talk or dance. Soon we meet many colorful characters: General Lade (John Bacchus), the leader of the apes who fuels the hatred of the humans, Dr. Cornholeus (Debbie Rochon), an ape doctor who is convinced that humans are not as bad as everyone thinks, and Uvula (Seduction star Darian Caine), one of the planet's curious and naive native humans who takes a liking to the astronauts. Many problems erupt, as the human astronauts cause confusion among the ape population, since they can talk, etc., which negates the notion that all humans are soulless creatures. Soon, it becomes a battle of wits, strength, and erotic charm as the astronauts try to help the native humans regain their dignity while also trying to repair their ship and return home.
Playmate of the Apes is Seduction Cinema's biggest and most prolific stab at the erotic spoof genre so far. There is a large cast, great monkey make-up, many computer generated effects, and a good, cohesive story. The three leads (Mundae, Engert, and Anoushka) do a good job at playing their fish-out-of-water roles, and know how to deliver the humorous lines. Just watch the scene in which Misty Mundae apes the famous line from the original and frantically shrieks, "This place is a madhouse! A MADHOUSE!!" and try not to laugh. The parody really works.
There are many more good things I could say about this film, but it would just be best to see it for yourself. It's funny, erotic, and very entertaining.
The Special Edition DVD presents the film in it's original full-frame aspect ratio. Special Features are abundant. They include:
*Interviews with Misty Mundae, Debbie Rochon, and Darian Caine
*A wonderful behind-the-scenes segment
*Sexy, intimate interviews with Anoushka and Sharon Engert
*music video for "We're the Humans" (a parody of the Monkee's theme song)
*numerous trailers for this and other Seduction Cinema films
Great movie, great DVD...director John Bacchus continues to impress.

Lord of the G-Strings - The Femaleship of the String
Funny enough for the wife too.It is full of puns, bad jokes and VERY tame sexual situations. My husband says it's almost tame enough to be party porn, I'm not sure I would say that. However if you are a fan of LOTR then this movie will get you laughing and get things going.
for a good laugh - check it outA friend threw this in his laptop as we gathered around to watch a movie after a long day. We laughed our asses off.
Surprisingly good humor. Not to the league of "Robin Hood : Men in Tights", but it was close for being a B movie. There were more than plenty of crazy side jokes. One of the most memorable characters (besides Misty, Darian, Ruby, etc) was Smirnoff - the drunken old mage.
Although the plot was a satyr on LOTR, it flowed amazingly well. Everything was developed quite nicely.
The only stuff missing was a cold beer in my hand, and a bowl of popcorn in the other. Well worth buying.

Doesn't even deserve a rating!! These guys suck!!
The only good thing about this movie is Misty MundaeMisty Mundae saves this movie from complete failure. She plays the sister of the new emperor, and he keeps her close to his side for the first two-thirds of the film. Once she finally has a chance to engage in the gladiator-like activities taking Rome by storm, the movie becomes much better. This is actually a rather large-scale project for the Seduction Cinema folks; all this really means is that there are more actors than usual included in the cast and that the whole Roman army, instead of numbering a handful of soldiers, seems to consist of about twenty people. This is unquestionably a bare-bones sort of production. Almost all of the action takes place out in the open, and computer-generated Roman-looking buildings are supposed to make us envision Rome itself as the setting. The plot itself pretty much stinks, coming pretty close to giving Mistress Frankenstein a run for its money in terms of its rottenness. Bacchus got some of his jollies with the idea of a "vomitorium" this time around, and this does not help his cause. One thing about this film particularly galls me, though. The voices of Darian Caine and Jade DuBoir are dubbed over with some he-man-sounding female voices which sound utterly ridiculous. I really can't recommend this film to anyone besides Misty Mundae fans; she is much too good for a movie this ridiculous.
Fun FilmThis is a VERY low-budget movie. It's like a group of friends got together to have some fun acting the plot out. I wasn't expecting anything here. I was assuming it would be something mindless. It turned out not to be totally mindless.
The humor is extremely silly - beyond what you might in Airplane! or Naked Gun. There are a few good moments which I don't think I should state in a place which can be viewed by all ages. I'm tempted to make comparisons with the director Ed Wood, but that could be a little misleading since he never did porn. There is plenty of overacting and bad dialogue. ...but it's fun.
Even with the bad jokes, there is a plot here. The weapons are plastic toys. The main female gladiator fights don't really involve weapons. Two women approach each other and then they quickly touch each other in a sexual manner or move their tongues rapidly. Most of the fights are orgies - all girls. No men involved. There are a few traditional gladiator type fights, but they're just there to move the story along. I could have done without the vomit scene.
For me, the movie was enjoyable, but not a classic. I simply viewed it as a Gladiator spoof with some sex added in. I liked it because I studied Latin and Roman culture in college, and it was neat to see this type of a production on that subject. ...even if it may not be 100% (or even 40%) historically accurate.
There is a nice interview with Misty Mundae included. ...a normal interview. Just comments about her daily routine and a few things about the production.

A dead-on sexy spoof of TV's SurvivorThe erotic segments of the movie aren't bad, but they're not what I would call sizzling either. Fans of both Darian Caine and Misty Mundae should not work themselves into a frenzy because there is no intense interaction between the two here; I myself found that somewhat disappointing. Actual Survivor moments are put to good use here, including a tapioca search and the discovery of a supposedly hot mud pit. If you watch this movie for the girls only, you might be disappointed to find that there is as much time spent on spoofing Survivor as there is. The erotic action is actually somewhat limited in this Seduction Cinema production, but there is a better than average amount of comedy. My particular favorite moment is Esmerelda stopping to light a cigarette while trying to start a fire by banging rocks together. Featuring a heavy-handed satirical take on Survivor, plenty of laughs, and a decent amount of Seduction Cinema girls being Seduction Cinema girls, this low-budget video is not a bad way to waste and hour and a half.

The Naughty Edition of the film comes with a making-of featurette, and it is really quite interesting to watch. For one thing, you get to see exactly how the hanging scene was done (dismissing any fears the viewer might have that poor Katie actually came to a bad end). Of more interest to me, though, was the manner in which the film was produced. The whole movie was filmed in one day by William Hellfire in somebody's basement (they had to wrap up by 4 pm because the guy's mother would be coming back home at that time). Katie Jordan didn't even know the name of Misty's character at the beginning, and filming is interrupted several times by dogs barking outside. Misty Mundae's performance in this dark adults-only film is nothing short of mesmerizing (although, to repeat myself, this movie is not for everyone), offering further proof that her talent is rather wasted in movies such as this.
