WWE - Austin vs. McMahon - The Whole True Story

The Stone Cold-Vince McMahon Saga
Nice DVD, but it could have been better with extras. Some of the matches that could have been shown include the following--

April 13, 1998 (Dudle Love Returns)
Unforgiven 1998
King of the Ring 1998
Austin-Kane June 29, 1998 (WWF Title)
1999 Royal Rumble Match
Gaunlet Match in Toronto
February 14, 1999 (Cage Match)
WrestleMania XV Main Event (Rock-Austin)
King of the Ring 1999
Austin-Undertaker on RAW is WAR for WWF Title
Austin-Taker First Blood Match

Great video, but much to short
The only reason I give this three stars is because the footage shown is cut way to short. This is well put together footage of the Austin vs. McMahon feud. When they show the clips of the matches, don't fast-forward, because the clips they show are to short anyways, so why bother fast-forwarding? This video is funny in some parts, the rest is a big fest of arguing and fighting. I do not recommend this to anyone, but you are free to buy it if you want.

The Best Feud Ever Conceived
This is a perfect example of how Vince always happens to rise like a pheonix from the ashes. Before this feud, the company was in complete shambles. Even his top star Bret Hart left the company after the screw-job at Survivor Series. Vince later capitalized on the horrible event and turns himself into the evil tyrant we see today. Enter Steve Austin. The epitome of the normal American. He like most others doesn't like his boss one bit. However he can do what no other employee can in normal society: beat the living hell out of him. This feud is a classic for class struggle and two egos who can't stand each other. The highlights of this excellently put together video include when he dressed up for Vince only to leave Vince "bowing down", Austin holding McMahon hostage, the Beer Truck incident, and the zamboni incident which leads to Taker and Kane leaving Vince handicapped in the funniest and most entertaining back to back segments ever tapped on Raw. If you have ever heard of wrestling and always wanted to know what all the uproar is about, get this video and Hulk Still Rules which is a must must have also. I only wished they showed more of Austin holding Vince hostage cause that is my personal favorite moment.

A Simple Twist of Fate
Released in DVD by Buena Vista Home Vid (06 May, 2003)
MPAA Rating: PG-13 (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: Gillies MacKinnon
Starring: Steve Martin
A Simple Twist of Fate, Steve Martin's second adaptation of a classic (after his Roxanne-ization of Cyrano de Bergerac), is a melancholy, dramatic comedy about a recluse coming out of his shell. Suggested by George Eliot's Silas Marner, this isn't a cutesy picture akin to Father of the Bride. It's much more heartfelt, gentle, and satisfying, as long as you accept its traditional and predictable conclusions. Scorned by life, Michael McCann (Martin) lives in an auburn-tinted town and goes on with his colorless life. That is, until an abandoned child is left on his doorstep, and he adopts her. A custody battle ensues years later with far too many cheap, unconvincing courtroom dramatics in which money is the root of all evil, but the tone and wholesomeness of the story are special. Gabriel Byrne pulls off a nearly unplayable role as the town's aristocrat with fine underplayed support by Catherine O'Hara and youngster Alana Austin. The wonderful score is by Cliff Eidelman. --Doug Thomas

A Must Have
This movie warms your heart, feeds your mind and leaves you feeling like there is hope for humanity. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Steve Martin is awesome in this film.

Excellent Movie!
This movie is excellent. Most of the movie was filmed at my next-door neighbors farm across town. I remember watching the movie being filmed when i was younger. It is a great movie and I highly recommend it for people of all ages.

I absolutely ADORE this movie!
I'm thrilled this movie is finally going to be available on DVD! Steve Martin is magnificent in this story that he wrote that so closely follows the plot of Silas Marner it's amazing! I had to read the book after seeing the movie and was so surprised! That the story from that book could hold up to contemporizing is amazing. The music is wonderful and I loved hearing Steve Martin play "Red is the Rose" on his banjo. I even found the soundtrack second hand. Fans of Steve Martin in a dramatic role will not be disappointed!

The Hanging Garden
Released in DVD by M G M, Inc (03 June, 2003)
MPAA Rating: R (Restricted)
Director: Thom Fitzgerald
Starring: Kerry Fox and Chris Leavins
Canadian writer-director Thom Fitzgerald won awards for this unusual memory piece about a gay man (Chris Leavins) who returns home to his sister's wedding and the garden where he may or may not have made a tragic decision as an unhappy teen. Fitzgerald alters reality and indulges in quirks without any comment: past and present mingle, the eyes of statues move, and the whole thing drips with rain, portent, and an unpredictable sense of humor. His film will frustrate anyone wanting easy answers (or, in some cases, any answers at all) and it is, perhaps, aggressively unconventional. But its raw edges have a freshness to them, and Fitzgerald's people and events feel unusually alive (Kerry Fox is particularly fine as the brassy sibling). He doesn't view his characters in one dimension, seeing them instead as ever-blooming creatures of history, dreams, superstition, and regret. --Steve Wiecking
Average review score:

Dark, sad and understandable
The film quality was good as was the audio. The actors did a good job and the story was strange but something connects with a great many who will see it. I related well with the film and was drawn into some parts deeply. I feel it was a good investment.

Holds the interest
This film is a strange, sad film about a young gay man and his miserable family. It reaches a point of crisis at his sister's wedding. There are tragic, believeable characters: the alcoholic father who can't control his temper, the burned-out mother worn down from keeping the family together, the daffy grandmother, the brassy, devoted sister, her indecisive, mixed-up husband. But for all that, we always remain fixated on the main character, both as despairing, lonely teenager and quietly self-assured young man. Some scenes grab the emotions like few other films have, especially for gay men struggling with unhappy childhoods. The only problem is that it's sometimes hard to understand. The director strives to be artistic, which is admirable, but the mixing of realistic melodrama and surrealism results in uncertainty, and when the film is over, I was uncertain as to what the director was trying to say. However, it is always gripping and holds the attention.

a day in the life of a normal family.
This is the day in the life of a normal family as these days who is to say what is normal and what is not, the very handsome Chris Leavins does a wonderful job in this film, my hats off to him. This movie is a must see for anyone having problems addapting to guy friends, as everyone is different (thank God for that)we can learn a great deal from this family. Chris may God in heaven bless you. Good luck in life with what ever comes your way.

The Mouse That Roared
Released in DVD by Columbia Tristar Hom (08 July, 2003)
MPAA Rating: Unrated
Director: Jack Arnold
Starring: Peter Sellers and Jean Seberg
The Mouse That Roared (1959) is mostly remembered as a tour-de-force by a peerless comic actor, Peter Sellers, playing all three of the principal roles. It's worth seeing for that reason alone, but the film is also one of the most memorable satires of nuclear geopolitics produced during the cold war and, along with another Sellers vehicle, Dr. Strangelove, provides an unbeatable illustration of the paranoia and helplessness engendered by that period.

The Mouse That Roared tells the story of the fictional European principality of Grand Fenwick. Finding itself on the wrong end of a trade dispute with the United States, and noting America's generosity in rebuilding the countries it had fought in World War II, Grand Fenwick's rulers hit upon the idea of declaring war on the U.S., losing, and then reaping a Marshall Plan-style handout. The plan, proposed by Grand Fenwick's prime minister (played by Peter Sellers), is approved by the monarch (also played by Peter Sellers), who dispatches an invasion force under the command of Grand Fenwick's hapless Field Marshal (also played by Peter Sellers). Due to a series of happenstances and misunderstandings, however, Grand Fenwick's plan goes terribly wrong... --Andrew Mueller

Average review score:

Disappointing
To save its failed economy, the Duchy of Grand Fenwick declares war on the United States with the intention of losing and receiving millions of dollars in aid. Unfortunately, Grand Fenwick's invasion force accidentally wins by seizing control of the experimental Q-bomb.

The premise of this cold war farce is funnier than its execution. Jack Arnold's direction is uninspired and the whole enterprise creaks along rather mechanically. Peter Sellars appears in three different roles, but he seems to be holding back. Although I found the film clever at times, I did not find one genuine laugh.

Funny story, but bad DVD
The Mouse That Roared is a funny satire that is boosted by the excellent performances of Peter Sellers. Set in the fictional country of Grand Fenwick, the story tells of their plans to invade America, lose the war, and then reap the benefits as the USA tries to rebuild their country just like after WWII with the Marshall Plan. Unfortunately, the whole plan goes awry setting the whole story into motion. This is a funny movie but there is nothing here that is great humor. The idea of it all is pretty good, but the story never really takes off.

Peter Sellers is great as the Duchess of Grand Fenwick, the Prime Minister of Grand Fenwick, and also the Field Marshall of Grand Fenwick. He has most of the good lines in the movie although even he is not at his best. The film also stars Joan Seberg as the daughter of a doctor that the Field Marshall falls in love with. The DVD does offer widescreen presentation and several theatrical trailers but there is a problem here. Maybe its just my own DVD but the sound is off so that when people talk their mouths move a second or two after the actual dialogue has been spoken. This may just be my DVD, but it is distracting nonetheless and very obvious. The Mouse that Roared is still a funny movie with three good performances by Peter Sellers.

" But what if we win?...."
A fellow graduate school student and I saw this film in New Haven when it was first released and had no idea what to expect, except that it starred Peter Sellers whose work we both admired very much in earlier films such as The Ladykillers (1955), Tom Thumb (1958), and I'm All Right Jack (1959). So we settled back in our seats and were immediately enchanted by Grand Fenwick and its monarch, Grand Duchess Gloriana (Sellers). The best way to enjoy this film now is to see it as a whimsical fantasy rather than as a serious satire of the Cold War and the widespread concern then about thermonuclear weapons. Its greatest strength remains the same as it was 45 years ago: The talents of Peter Sellers. He plays three quite different characters, the aforementioned Grand Duchess as well as "Field Marshal" Tully Bascombe (who leads a 20-soldier invasion of the United States) and Count Mountjoy, the devious prime minister.

The plot (such as it is) consists of a series of humorous incidents prior to, during, and then following the invasion. As directed by Jack Arnold, the film focuses on the implications of a basic conceit: Declare war on the United States (as did Japan and then Germany), lose the war, and then have your economy restored to greater health than ever before (e.g. Japan and Germany). Count Mountjoy's strategy fails for reasons best revealed in the film. One of the several brilliant elements is Arnold's use of Professor Kokintz (David Kossoff) who has invented the "Q Bomb," a weapon whose nuclear power (he claims) is "approximately" equal to 100 hydrogen bombs. Better yet, it has the size and shape of an American football and thus can easily be tucked under an arm until activated. Presumably the straight-faced silliness throughout this film made a favorable impression on members of the Monty Python Flying Circus.

Regrettably, the DVD version I have offers no special features other than clearer image and sound. Those who enjoy this film are urged to check out Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) in which Alec Guinness plays eight different roles.

Uptown Girls
Released in Theatrical Release by (15 August, 2003)
MPAA Rating: PG-13 (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: Boaz Yakin
Starring: Brittany Murphy, Dakota Fanning, Jesse Spencer, and Heather Locklear
Brittany Murphy uses her ditzy/sexy combination to maximum effect in Uptown Girls. Molly Gunn (Murphy) is an heiress living off the estate of her dead rock star father--until an unscrupulous accountant embezzles everything and Molly has to get a job. After a failed attempt at retail work, Molly finds herself as the nanny for a prematurely humorless and rigid little girl named Ray (Dakota Fanning, I Am Sam), whose music mogul mother Roma (Heather Locklear) hardly ever sees her. Meanwhile, Molly woos an English musician who's trying to get a record contract from Roma. Unsurprisingly, Ray teaches Molly to take some responsibility for herself, while Molly gives Ray the opportunity to become the child she is--but despite the formulaic quality of the story, the two actresses play off each other well, and something unexpectedly touching emerges. Also featuring Marley Shelton (Sugar & Spice). --Bret Fetzer

Dakota Shines - But The Movie Overall - Is Not as Bright!
This movie directed by Boaz Yakin (Fresh, Remember The Titans) has a certain charm to it. It was going for the warm fuzzy's and along the way found a real heart for me.

Cocky and not-so-bright Britney Murphy (Just Married, 8-Mile) plays a aristocratic well to do teen who suddenly looses what she ahs to find out she needs to get a real job. In her attempt she is befriended by a mother played by Heather Locklear (Looney Toons Back In Action, The First Wives Club) who needs a caretaker - babysitter for her young daughter played by Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, The Cat In The Hat).

The two teach each other a valuable lesson about life. One - Brittany needs to lean how to grow up, the other - Dakota - needs how to learn to have fun. The two are forced to tolerate each other in order to appease the mother. However, in the process of hating each other, they learn a lesion in family friendship and that people are not what they seem to be on the outside.

That's the warm fuzzy! Really nice heart - it does get a little slow in parts, but the chemistry of little Dakota with everyone on screen is amazing. You can't help not liking her even after she plays this temperamental little brat.

As far as the theatrical experience, a good film for the teens and young adults but it is not really for the really young or middle aged crowd - it does have a syrupy side that may give some a tooth ache. This would be a great DVD to have for the family. Let me know what you think. (11-12-03)

Enjoyable Movie With A Sad Twist
The plot of "Uptown Girls" revolves around a rich daughter of a dead rock star named Molly *Brittany Murphy" who gets scanned out of her inheritance so she must get a job taking care of the bratty daughter of a record exec. The acting in thsi film is actually very good and the little girl did a great job. Brittany Murphy is amusing onscreen as she usually is. The movie is lighthearted as a whole until towards the end when the predictable ending doesn't come into play and tragedy is introduced instead. Very sad. Still, a very good movie.

Absolutly have to see
I think that "Uptown girl" is a sweet mix of everything you would want to see. It's funny with a touch of tears, romantic..and well just GOOD. Brittany Murphy has become one of my favourite actress's through this movie; I feel that a good part of her acting is just her personality (except in real life she knows about the whole grownup role). As for "Ray"? "Flash News" she is absolutly fantastic .....i admire her!! (and that's all i can say) The reason this movie needs....yes yes NEEDS to be seen is just because the person infront of the screen never gets bored . Trust me when I saw this movie i was in the plane coming back from New York, and well a lot of times planes aren't the best theaters. Am I right? This movie has a message, and is not totally blahhh, and dull it shows a little bit of everywoman out there, the permanent conflict: To grow up? or not to grow up? and most of the times the little girl decides she wants to and vice versa. This "mixage" of fairy tale and harsh reality is fantastically produced!! CONGRATULATION Uptown girl crew: You have a winner!!

WWE - Stone Cold Steve Austin - What?
Released in DVD by Sony Music (Video) (30 April, 2002)
MPAA Rating:
Starring: Steve Austin
No matter how beloved a wrestling superstar becomes, there is always a point during his career when he turns heel. Hulk Hogan did it, the Rock did it, but no one did it better than Stone Cold Steve Austin in 2001. The beer-swilling, bird-flipping "Bionic Redneck" went from trailer-trash American hero to a hated, vicious psychopath, and as this DVD proves, he loved every minute of it. Stone Cold Steve Austin: What? covers all of the major events of Austin's yearlong heel period, from his shocking turn at WrestleMania 17 (the conclusion of a bloody, legendary match with the Rock) to his alliance with Vince McMahon and Triple H to his reign of chair-bashing terror over the entire WWE roster (women and announcers included). All of it is narrated by Austin from his ranch, and he offers droll insight into his character. The DVD also contains a ton of solid extras, including complete matches with Triple H and Ricky Steamboat. It's a must for any Austin fan. --Dave McCoy
Average review score:

There wasn't enough history of himself and his background..
I remember seeing him for the first time in the ring as 'Stunning Steve Austin'. It was when I was in high school. I was either a sophmore or junior back in either 96' or 97' at 17 or 18. It was watching WCW and it was around the time Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan fromed the NWO.

I liked him. I liked that personality. He was cauky, energetic, brash, and arrogant. I wanted to see more of that side of him. I would've enjoyed seeing him get interviwed as 'Stunnng Steve Austin' or at least have him say a few words.

Yes, I liked Steve Austin better as 'Stunning Steve Austin'. Also, more info and pictures on his past when he was growing up would've been nice.

Other than that, this documentary was alright,
Steve

Great DVD!
"What?" is a good account of Austin's year in 2001. Here are the things that you can expect from this DVD:

-His match with the Rock at Wreastlemainia X-7 and his shocking heel turn
-Arn Anderson talks about how WCW misused Austin
-Austin joining forces with Triple H
-Austin talks about Vince McMahon
-Includes the skit with Vince McMahon and Kurt Angle that has Austin playing guiter and singing to them (from Smackdown) classic!
His match with Chris Benoit on Smackdown on May 31st, 2001. Should have included this in DVD extras. I saw the match and it was that good.
The post 9/11 show (Smackdown)
His match with Kurt Angle at Summerslam. Should have included this in extras too.

Extras include the following matches:

No Way Out 2001 verses Triple H 2 out of 3 falls. This match is one of the greatest in WWE history.

Bash at the Beach 1994 Vs Rickey Steamboat for the United States title. Another great match
Victory speech at the 1996 King Of The Ring
5 more interviews

Buy it!

Decent WWE DVD
"Stone Cold Steve Austin What" chronicles Steve Austin's 2001 WWF year through a combined mix of interviews and video footage. In addition to chronicling his year 2001, the video also takes a quick look back at his time in the old WCW. Overall, while the feature can be criticized for its brevity (with a runtime of approximately an hour) it is a decent review of his year 2001.

THE FEATURE:

The feature reviews the following:

1 - His feud with Triple H during the beginning of 2001, in particular their Match of the Year at No Way Out 2001

2 - His feud with the Rock for the WWF title

3 - His heel turn

4 - His quick feud with Chris Benoit

5 - His lead role in the ill-fated Invasion angle

6 - His awesome feud with Kurt Angle

7 - A handful of the comedy sketches he did on WWF TV in 2001 with Vince McMahon and Kurt Angle

8 - His appearance on MadTV

9 - A quick look at his WCW career as "Stunning Steve" with interviews by Ric Flair and Arn Anderson and footage of Ricky Steamboat and Brian Pillman.

10 - How he came up with his "WHAT???" catchphrase (you'll be surprised how it developed).

THE DVD FEATURES:

WWE is starting to put out better extras on their DVDs. It's good to see they are putting SOME use to the WCW footage they acquired in the buyout. Here's the rundown of the extras on this DVD:

1."Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H" No Way Out 2001. THE Match of the Year of 2001. 2 out of 3 Falls Match (Regular, Street Fight, Steel Cage). Talk about intensity and athleticism. 5 stars.

2.Coronation speech from King of the Ring 1996. Witness the birth of "Austin 3:16."

3."Stunning" Steve Austin vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Bash at the Beach 1994. Austin's favorite match against his favorite worker. Actually, from what I understand Austin wanted the match from the Clash of Champions against Steamboat. Oh well. Decent 23 minute bout. 3 ¾ stars

4.Extra Interviews:

1)"Origins of 3:16" Austin gives his thoughts on the catchphrase.

2)Arn Anderson: 1 minute spot where AA talks about a trip to Japan with Austin.

3)Camera Guy: 2 minute spot with the camera guy talking about his relationship with Stone Cold

4)Wildlife: 1 minute 30 seconds. Austin talks about his ranch animals.

5)"Back on the Ranch": 3 minutes. Austin talks his pets and the types of food and music he likes.

THE CRITICISM:

While the feature is decent, the one limiting thing about it (and this applies to just about ALL WWF/E DVDs) is the one hour time limit. There is just SOOOO much more that they can include on these but don't. Some of the other things they could have included:

1.More on his WCW career (including more bonus matches). They have the footage.

2.His feud with RVD during the Invasion.

3.His feud with Booker T.

4.More bonus matches.

THE VERDICT:

Aside from these criticisms, the feature is OKAY. The stuff they do put on is quality and it is a decent watch for Austin/WWE fans. The bonus matches make this a worthwhile viewing/purchase.

Short Circuit (Special Edition)
Released in DVD by Image Entertainment (19 September, 2000)
MPAA Rating: PG (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: John Badham
Starring: Ally Sheedy and Steve Guttenberg
John Badham's family-oriented adventure comedy, though obviously hatched in the wake of E.T. and Star Wars, manages to create its own identity through a sweet tone and an affectionate sense of fun. Military robot Number 5, a well-armed killing machine, is zapped by lightning during a test and emerges with a consciousness, curiosity, a wacky sense of humor, and a new peace-loving philosophy. Ally Sheedy (who debuted in Badham's hit WarGames) is the animal lover whose home is sanctuary for a zoo-full of strays and who adopts the adolescent robot. Steve Guttenberg is the goofy but reclusive robotics designer who goes off in search of his creation to save him from the gun-happy army. The mix of gentle slapstick and innocent romance makes for a harmless family comedy. It veers toward the terminally cute, what with 5's hyperactive antics and E.T.-ish voice, and the mangled grammar of Guttenberg's East Indian sidekick (Fisher Stevens) threatens to become offensive, but Badham's breezy direction keeps the film on track. Sheedy and Guttenberg deliver spirited and engaging performances, but most importantly the robot emerges as a real person. Give credit to designer Syd Mead, an army of puppeteers and robotics operators, and the cartoony voice of Tim Blaney: Number 5 is alive. --Sean Axmaker

Great movie for thinkers
A fun movie for thinkers, kids, and computer nerds. Some profanity, but not enough to seriously damage the story line. A robot who becomes "alive" courtesy of a bolt of lightning, makes you think about what it means to be "alive." Clearly defined "good guys" and "bad guys" makes it easy to see whom to root for. Happy ending makes the wait worthwhile. The sequel takes the story a lot farther, for more thinking, and more exciting fun.

another classic
i love any movies with steve guttenberg. he did a great job in this great movie. watch this for a great movie.

One Of My Favorites!
This is one of my favorite movies. It's a good movie to watch when your bored. In the movie, there's robots and they do pretty good. And then Newton Crosby (Steve Guttenberg) and Ben (Fisher Stevens) thinks of dissasembling him to find out which parts go to which but number 5 is afraid he will die. Well first, he lands on Stephanie Speck's (Ally Sheedy)truck and then afterwords she finds...a number 5! And then she shows him around the place. And then number 5 always asks for Input and... well, you'll find out the rest when you see this movie.

Denise Austin - Fat-Blasting Yoga: 21 Days to a Yoga Body
Released in DVD by Artisan (Fox Video) (20 May, 2003)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Denise Austin
This well-designed program combines fast-paced yoga moves for fat-burning, hatha yoga poses for strength and flexibility, and stability ball exercises for core conditioning in three segments that can be done in one 60-minute session, or separately. Segment 1 builds patterns based on strong yoga poses such as the Warrior and Balancing Stick, adding lifts and lunges at a fast pace so that you're breathing faster and working the muscles simultaneously. Segment 2 is strength training by holding poses. Segment 3 focuses on core strength with a stability ball. Some familiarity with yoga is helpful--Austin doesn't give much instruction about breathing or the fine points of the poses--but not required. Although Austin talks nonstop, as always, her voice is quieter than usual and more fitting for this workout. (The repetitive, rhythmic music, however, is distracting rather than supportive.) Recommended for intermediate exercisers because no modifications are shown, and many of the poses are challenging. --Joan Price
Average review score:

Not for the average woman
I have a number of Denise's videos and while I find her voice and comments annoying ( I turn down the sound and put music on), I usually like her workouts. I have done yoga for 2 years and have run, biked and done strength-training all my life, so I'm in better shape than the average 40+ woman. I would NOT recommend these workouts for the average person. It moves too fast in places and too slow in others. If your balance isn't that of a gymnast, you will be falling over numerous times and struggling to figure out what the heck she's doing. I like to workout hard, but this is just not a well-designed workout. Crunch's Perfect Yoga Workout is much better, especially the Fat Burning Workout.
Don't waste your money, if you can do this workout - you don't need it!!

Welcome to "Yog-aerobics"
This is not "yoga" in the classical sense. First, this woman's voice gets annoying--"Oh, I love this stretch!" (Say what?) Second, her balancing poses make my feet hurt. Third, if you are not in any kind of shape, it is HARD--too hard, and you can hurt yourself bad. If you must have it, WATCH this video while working with your Thighmaster set (or something) FIRST before actually working out with it. Keep the controller handy to back it up . .again, this is "yog-aerobics." If you are one of those with hypothyroidism and adrenal exhaustion (as described in The Schwarzbein Principle II) this is NOT what you are looking for. Proceed with caution, people.

Terrific Way to Start Your Morning
This was the second yoga video I had bought and I found it to be very challenging. There are three workouts- a thirty minute "power yoga" that really gets your blood pumping, a 15 minute strength training and a 15 minute core conditioning with the balance ball. The middle workout, strength training, was the most difficult for me. But I have noticed that in the two months I have been using this product, I have become stronger and more flexible. I don't know if my body will ever look like Denise Austin's, but I sure feel recharged after I do all three segments.

AWESOME PPV OF 2001
THIS WAS A GREAT PPV. EVEN THOUGH JERICHO WON IT WAS STILL A GREAT PPV. THE HARDCORE MATCH BETWEEN RVD AND UNDERTAKER WAS REALLY GOOD. IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE SHOW STEALER BUT WASN'T THAT GOOD ENOUGH. IT WAS ALSO UNDERTAKERS FIRST MATCH WITH SHORT HAIR! ALL THE OTHER MATCHES WERE GOOD EXCEPT THE WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH BETWEEN DUDLEY BOYZ AND BIG SHOW AND KANE. TAHT WAS EVEN AN OKAY MATCH. OVERALL THIS WAS A GREAT PPV AND I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. THIS WILL PROBABLY BE WORTH LOTS OF MONEY LIKE 20 YEARS FROM NOW SINCE IT'S REALLY HISTORIC. 1ST UNDISPUTED CHAMP AND ALL. WELL ANYWAYS LIKE I SAID I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES WWE WRESTLING. PEACE I'M OUT!!!!!

A great ppv to cap off a great year of wrestling!
A lot of people put this ppv down because of the unexpected ending but I thaught it was a very good show. Listed below are my reviews of the matches.

Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Christian & Test

(Not a classic but a very solid opener)

Edge vs. William Regal

(A decent match with a good ending)

Jaqueline vs. Trish

(A great effort by both divas)

Dudley Boyz vs. Big Show & Kane

(The worst match on the card. The Big Show & Kane have no chemistry at all)

RVD vs. Undertaker

(The best hardcore match I have ever seen!. Taker is as sadistic as ever and RVD is in fine form)

Kurt Angle vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

(These two men have had many battles but this one stood out from the rest. A fantastic display by both competitors)

Chris Jericho vs. The Rock

(Another great match from the Jericho/Rock series. Shame about the ending though)

Undisputed Title Match
Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

(A superb main event with both men being pushed to their absolute limits. Booker T interfears at the end and helps Jericho get the win)

Verdict - There is not many bad points to this ppv. The Undertaker/rvd match along with the Angle/Austin match are worth buying this dvd for alone!.

oh my what a PPV
I can't believe how good this PPv was. one undisputed champion. The triple main event was the best in the world. Austin vs. Angle Jericho vs. The Rock And then the final match Austin vs. Jericho. Even though Jericho won the undisputed title. It was still an outstanding PPV. And the more back you think about it the more you know how much Jericho deserved the undisputed championship.
