Great looking DVD of 1950s favorites
There are plenty of DVDs out on the market today with episodes of television shows from the 1950s and 1960s that have fallen into the "public domain." Many of them are cheaply put together and, visually, look it. Not so with releases from the Falcon Picture Group. By and large, their releases look better than the vast majority of DVDs with older television shows. The reason for this is that they have done digital restoration of the prints included on this set.

What I like about this DVD is the great variety of shows included. Yes, some of the shows, like Dragnet, the Lone Ranger, Red Skelton, etc., are available on other DVDs, but they have also included some shows like Racket Squad, Mr. & Mrs. North, and Sea Hunt that are either rarely or never seen on video/DVD. I hadn't seen Sea Hunt since its syndication run in the 1960s. What a great show and, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only episode available anywhere on DVD (wish there were more episodes of Sea Hunt on DVD).

While this disk is more of a "potpourri" of different types of television shows from the 1950s, Falcon also offers three other DVDs, including ones with television Detectives, Westerns, and Comedies. If you are nostalgic for this great era in television, these DVDs are the way to go. Highly recommended!

Saber Marionette J to X, Program One
Released in DVD by Geneon Entertainment (23 April, 2002)
MPAA Rating:
Director: Masami Shimoda
Average review score:

Sadly, not as good...
This is the third and final installment of the Saber Marionette J series.
It presents an interesting plot twist, yet, the art is no as appealing or as rich as in the other instalments (J and J again).
Altough it tells the story of what will happen to marionettes when women return to Terra 2, the stories aren't as well planned and almost fail to maintain the charismatic humor of the original Saber Marionette J.
Nonetheless, the battle scenes, altough few, are still as good as they were, even better. It was good to see something so important be taken into a better level. Really, kudoz.
The music and sound seems to improve, as the ending and opening themes are catchy and well tuned, the stories are always accompanied by a great musical score and the japanese voices are well done (don't go near the english ones...)
The only real disappointment was the lack of continuity. Not only is the story from J Again discontinued, but the cast seems to act a little out of character. Lime is a lot more childish almost to the point of annoyance, Otaru is depressive and insensitive sometimes and the saber dolls were playing secondary characters that could have been done without. Now, if most of the marionettes had supposedly matured by the end of J, why are they acting more childish and less smart? They really messed up this aspect

I'd only recommend buying this last part if you are curious about the real ending to SMJ and/or if you're a real fan of the series. I just hope the third installment of the SMJ to X series will have the bonus 26th episode, a favorite between fans.

Great sequel to a great anime series
First of I like to say one thing
I LOVE THIS SHOW.
J to X starts of great and never did drag, the animation was great, the story was super, but on the down side the show used a little to much cg graphics just like SMJ Again, and also the english voice acting is terrible, it not just terrible, it [stinks]!
Where hell did Bandai pick these guys from, a freaking homeless bum could give a better performace than these voice actor, so even if you hate reading subtitle, and listening to japanese (which I must say is a beautiful language, but not as beautiful as Korean. jk They're both great language) I must say turn the japanese audio on and read the subtitle, You'll wish that you had a gun next to you just listening to these so called "voice-actors" On a personal note, I am really fond of the two Imperial Sabers, Baiko and Tamasaburo, and they seem to display more emotions, and more weaponary than the original.

this series is great
dont let any one tell you it is not very good ok so the art style is a little different it is still the saber marionette we know and love the only complaint about it though is that marine never comes back (Sorry all marine fans) it is a great series with lots of emotion and heart and the ending will leave you shocked but happy none the less so if you have seen j and jagain
this series will not dissapoint

Big disapointment
This series was a big disappointment because the voices in English are terrible even though the series said it was the same people who did the voices in the original saber marionette J series. As a fan of this series I just have to say out of all of the voices limes was terrible she was my favorite character in the last series. She acts way too childish and I liked how she used to act but this is ridiculous. The illustrators are not trying as hard at drawing them. I also liked Marine but I found out in J to X that she is not coming back. The story was good but they have try harder with keeping the characters the same. The original series rocked.

Great!
Episode 6 was SUCHA great and romantic episode! I mean, I didn't give respect to Bloodberry until that episode. It's so sweet! Episode 7 was very cute too, and I love the song there! Ep 8 portraits Cherry so well, and I love the baby! Ah, Kotaru is so cute! In short, it's a great DVD add to the rest ^^

The Redemption of Otaru; and This Series
Saber Marionette J to X Program Three takes the story back to where it should be: away from the filler episodes of the previous volumes and into a cohesive story. Elements displayed ing the series opening become clearer, and a new tale of intrigure begins. The threat to Terra II's security is revealed, and SMJ veterans can expect to see homages to previous events and cameos by some minor, older, characters. The tone of the series does a 180, turning away from the earlier happy/bouncy feel with a series of genuinely surprising plot twists and some shocking violence. This volume charts the course for episodes to come. This volume redeems SMJtoX from some of its blander early moments, and restores one's faith in the series. Reccomended to any fan of the original. The adventure continues!

Ball Above All - A Hoops TV Program, Vol. 1
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (15 May, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Ball Above All and Jermaine Dupri
Dunks. Big dunks. Gravity-defying, rim-rattling, in-your-face dunks. That's what you'll find in Ball Above All, a production of HoopsTV.com, a Web site dedicated to celebrating basketball from the playgrounds to the pros. This 35-minute video also includes brief segments on subjects as wide-ranging as tattoos, Shaquille O'Neal's custom-made car, and white men who can jump, all peppered with rap music, comments from Sinbad ("Kobe, you got game, but no more albums!"), sports-beverage product placements, and a little T&A. But the real reason for watching the video is killer crossover dribbles, no-look passes, and, oh yes, the dunks, in clips taken chiefly from prep games, summer leagues, and invitational tournaments. The NBA may be fan-tastic, but Ball Above All proves that you don't have be Michael Jordan or Vince Carter to throw down a vicious dunk, and you don't have to pay $85 a ticket to catch some spectacular basketball action. --David Horiuchi

CAUTION: SUPER LAME
LAME with a capital "L"! To everybody that is a serious baller, don't even touch this video. You will find no pleasure at all from this DVD! LAME!

Pretty good DVD
Well, this DVD was pretty sweet, except there wasnt as much dribbling as i would like to see...tho the dunks more than made up for it, and i'd liek to know if anyone knows who was the rapper that rapped 'la di da di, we liek to party...' during the section when they showed all the girls butts, thanks

best deal I have ever found
I got a bunch of gift certificates for christmas, and I stumbled upon this DVD gem...

The Steve Francis part is sick. I must have watched it 37 times. The music is perfect and Steve goes unconscious for about 27 points, including several explosive dunks over multi defenders, bouncing the ball off a defender's head, perfect form jumpshots, behind the back dribbling infront of defender. I'm not sure when this clip was taken but it was in a Pro City leage game. The clip is great, and steve is one of the best fundamental, unconsciously ballin' players of our time. I cannot watch this clip over enough times.

The James White dunk section is also pretty good.

A funny section on how to play pickup ball for a white dude. This part was pretty funny, and white people should find it helpful. They are rules you should know by now, but if you don't there they are.

The great white lie part was kinda lame. I was disappointed in this section. I couldnt tell if they were goofin' on them or if they really thought those were some tight moves. A few were tight, but some were very lame.

Everyone criticizing this video because it doesnt have rafer alston is dumb. THere is a section on him but it was pretty much a done in a sad light, since in reality it is pretty sad, and rafer has gotten too much hype already and not lived up to it. Sure he was a great ball handler, but there is more to basketball than that. This video is centered around outrageous dunkers, playmakers, and players who Ball Above All. Competitors. Scorers. Atheletes.

Not some goofy little and-1-mix tape.

Better Sex Video: Becoming Orgasmic DVD
Released in DVD by ¹ (01 January, 1993)
MPAA Rating:
Director: Dr. Mark Schoen Ph.D.

Watch Someone Read The Book
I imagine the book Becoming Orgasmic might be pretty good & actually helpful. It seemed like it had some good ideas from what I could tell as the actress on the video read it outloud. This video consisted of watching a couple go through the processes / exercises in the book - listening to her thoughts, and watching her complete the exercises. It wasn't very helpful at all, especially since it couldn't include all the tips or instructions given in the book. I'm not really sure what I was suppose to get out of it. It might be slightly benefical if you also ordered the book but I doubt it.

Also the book and video are geared towards women who have never had an organism. If you are even slightly orgasmic these will not be of any value to you.

AASECT Sex Therapist gives thumbs up
After 24 years as a marriage counselor, AASECT certified sex therapist, and online sexuality coach...I found this video to be the best yet for helping women understand and enjoy their sexuality. The real people on the video are an actual loving couple, so there is nothing prurient or porno about the film. Using this video and the companion book of the same name, my women clients have become less inhibited, more relaxed and sensual. Some were already orgasmic but sexually avoidant -- the story helped them learn how to talk about sex with their husbands. I highly recommend this video!
