Zombie Doom
this is the worst movie ever!!! it looks like it was filmed on someones motocross track. the acting.....what a sec, this isnt acting...this is a joke. i think they did the dubbing in someones bathroom with the lights out. i cant believe this was burned to a disc. im so glad i got it used. i pitched in the trash cause no one i know(or dont for that matter) should see this. folks, this movie is so bad that MST3K wouldnt touch it. i love zombie movies and this is a disgrace. like i said before.............WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!

DVD Doom
Some people have the idea that this is the goriest movie ever. Well, its not... Not even close. If you are looking for real gore check out Peter Jackson's Dead Alive, Re-Animator, Verus, Premutos or anything by Takashi Miike. This movie looks like a home video and horribly dubbed. This movie is so bad it is funny which is the only reason I give it two stars. If you want a good gory film look elsewhere. If you have money to waste and have every other good gory film then check it out for the laughs. Just don't expect more than a home video full of red caro syrup.

For gorehounds only
This is really treasure for gore hungry fans.Beside the gore there is not much more to recomend, but if you have taste for wild gorefest, here it is.

Kidz Bop - Everyone's A Star!

A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!! :-) :-) :-)
Oh my! This is WONDERFUL! Now even YOUR kid can be a star!

We always play it and sing along and pretend we're on MTV! Then we go do something else! But this is fun! Who needs that awful, awful band Tool when we have light, watered-down pop with KIDS like KIDZ BOP?!?

If you need music scrubbed clean for kids...
Then why not take some responsibility as a parent and encourage the kids to sing something else? The songs are fairly cloying adaptations of the originals, which arguably weren't that bad ("What a girl wants" and "Get this party started" were fairly tame to begin with). Just encourage the little ones to listen to classical music if you fear the outside world will corrupt their minds.

Too much fun....
My best friend gave this to me for my 16th birthday because of an inside joke, but we had the BEST time watching it. No one is taking themself seriously, and it' so cheesy that I could watch it over and over again. The kids are frightening, and the Elijah Wood bird looking girl who is dressed in purple lets her underwear show during the "Soak Up the Sun Video"! It's right at 22:09 if you want to look for it. You'd think they would pay more attention to that sort of thing...

Anyway, if you're a parent, this is entertaining and I would suggest it if your kids like singing and dancing videos. Just cover their eyes when beakface girl's undies pop out!

The Phantom Planet
Released in DVD by Gotham Distribution (19 November, 2002)

Late Night fun as a kid
This film is no classic but it is a fun one i remember as a kid. I saw it late night of course and enjoyed it then and i have seen it since and realize that you should take it as it is and not look for extreme quality acting but if you are a sci fi fan and enjoy old flicks then you will have fun with this one. Break out the popcorn and gather the kids for a good viewing.

SF camp classic looks terrific on DVD
Phantom Planet is a generally-overlooked but thoroughly enjoyable slice of early-60s SF cheese. Not really good enough to be a "good movie," not really bad enough to achieve Trash status; but I could watch this one every six months without getting tired of it. Dean Fredericks in the lead makes a quite unappealing, unsympathetic 'hero,' lending a strange atmosphere to the movie right off the bat. Francis X. Bushman (the silent Ben Hur) and Anthony Dexter (fallen far from 1951's Valentino) lend kitsch appeal, and Coleen Gray and Dolores Faith, as the 'mute girl,' provide potential love interest for drippy Fredericks. If you watch this with the mindset of a 10-year-old there's lots of fun and clever ideas and effects: the shrinking thing, passable outer space/rocketship sequences, the disintegrator floor panels and duel of death, the flaming Solarite death ships, etc. And the sad sack monster, played by clumsy giant-for-hire Richard Kiel ('Jaws'), has to be one of the most lovably moth-eaten, pathetically unthreatening creations to grace any B-flick; kind of Paul Blaisdell-meets-Harry Thomas at the thrift store. You could probably suspend your disbelief and really enjoy this movie on a comic book level, or have a few friends over and laugh yourselves silly. Highly recommended.
For long-time fans of this movie, Image's DVD delivers a fine print of the film: sharp and detailed, great tonal scale, virtually spotless save for some very light speckling and a rare blemished frame. You'll never need to worry about upgrading from this one. It blows my VHS TV prints right off the map. Unfortunately, there is no trailer for the feature, and the only other 'extra' is the chapter stops. There are five trailers included in an 'easter egg,' but they're the same ones as on every other Image release. Considering all the movies in their catalog, they could dish out a few new ones already! A minor gripe though, and if you love this movie you'll want this disc anyway.

Phantom Planet
Today the film looks corny, but back in the early 1960's it was a great picture to see.Especially if you are ten years old and with a big imagination. You must remember that this movie came out just when the space race was on.not a bad picture when you went to the theater on a saturday for 35 cents and saw a double feature. And you could stay all day and see it again and again.

Shock!
Released in DVD by Gotham Distribution (24 September, 2002)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Vincent Price

a very bad dvd transfer
This could have been a great B movie but it was let down by a very poor quality (sound and image) and i am rather upset about it so sometimes price can tell what you might expect from the product.MY ADVICE DON'T BUY IT UNTIL A GREAT COPY IS AVAILABLE.

Great film but ...
I'm very sorry, but I can't recommend this DVD by Alpha (Gotham Distribution): The image quality is even worse than my old videotape of the film. Maybe they tried some improvements, but the source material is simply too bad. Therefore the nice packaging is the only good thing with this release. That's a pity because the film is a great B-thriller with an impressing Vincent Price in one of his first starring roles. And Lynn Bari is a nice badgirl! Would be wounderful if 20th Century Fox (they produced SHOCK) would release a fine print of this little "film noir" masterpiece, but probably this will never happen! What a shame!

Shock, shock! This movie is good!
The title shouts sensationalism, but the film is a straight-forward, succinctly paced noir with a minimum of the melodrama and pseudo-medical nonsense that often marks such movies. Vincent Price's performance is understated, yet powerful, and his character's interaction with mistress Lynn Bari is chillingly intriguing. The discovery of this drama is like coming across a gleaming onyx in a chest of gaudy paste jewelry!

Host segments
I agree that these shorts are pretty lame. The name of the other host is Jason J. Tobin, who recently appeared in "Better Luck Tomorrow" and also starred in "Yellow."

Don't waste your money.
Very disappointing! Not one of the short stories was enjoyable. I don't understand how people can call this art. "The Absolution of Anthony" was the best of the lot. "Smear" was stupid. "Front Room" billed as "the two most erotic minutes ever filmed" was not only not erotic at all but the biggest "nothing" I have ever seen. "Fairy Tale" was at least an attempt at some sort of a storey, but failed miserably at creating any sympathetic characters. "Piglets" was a nonsensical mess. "Stanley beloved" was just very poor.

Laugh out loud funny
I cannot believe these short films are considered "good" by ANYBODY! They're horrible! I think the worst one is the one with the guy licking his arm. That's all he does. That's all you see. Just a man licking his own arm for about 3min. Another terrible one is with two guys and a girl playing some kind of running game with each other. They take turns running in front of each other. I don't understand why kids are playing Playstation 2 when they can take turns running in front of each other! The ONLY thing that saves this DVD is the very funny guys who introduce the films. Even they seem to think they're stupid. I'd like to see a film with the two funny guys.

Not an EPISODE!!!
I bought this thinking it would finally be an episode on dvd for Americans to buy. Wrong. It is just a animated game. (...)

Another Multipath adventure...
This is the second Xena Multipath adventure, FYI...It's not an actual episode. The description doesn't state that above but it really should. It is based on the episode of the same name and is an computer-animated adventure where at certain points along the course of the story, you decide the actions of a particlular character, resulting in one of several endings. However, most of it is not participatory - you're actually watching the computer-animated adventure most of the time, and it dies move along a bit slowly. This does *not* feature voices from the original Xena cast, which is most unfortunate - I did not like the voice for Gabby's character, and as a fan, I think you may find that these Multipaths leave a bit more to be desired. Try getting a used copy for [$$$] USD or so. Also, they are floating around the internet for a free play...you can also save the file on your computer for play anytime you wish. This DVD can be utilized in any DVD player.

Another Great Interactive DVD
This dvd is similar to the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" DVD that is an interactive adventure DVD, and is made by the same company. It's lots of fun, and worth the money. If you want the episodes, you should buy the season video sets.

The Best of Backyard Wrestling: Backyard Babes Uncensored
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (28 May, 2002)
MPAA Rating:
Average review score:

Stunk!
This was the WORST in the series! You have two bozos trying to be funny that weren't and some of the cheesiest matches ever captured on video. The babes were the only bright spot. If you want to pick a really cool DVD get AMERICA'S WILDEST BACHELOR PARTIES.

Best Ways to Ruin a Babe Video
How can you ruin a video with gorgeous babes who get topless and nude? Add 2 idiots that aren't funny, show them as much as the girls, move the camera so much the viewer gets dizzy, and edit the footage of the girls so much it is more a series of still pictures than a video. This gives "amatuer video" a bad name. The girls are all great, one is cinsational, but with 5 cuts a second, digitizing and image over image editing, shooting into the light, bouncing the camera all over, it is usually hard to tell. Some things are so bad they are funny, usually not intended (Plan 9 from Outer Space). El Drunko and Horndog are intended to be funny, but are just bad. Even Tylene in a barely there top and thong can't save the scenes. Each girl has a Meet the Babe segment, but each is less than a minute with almost more edits than seconds. (If just these segments had been about 5 minutes or more each, with most scenes 15 seconds or longer, this would easily have been 5 stars, the girls are that good.) The rest is short outtakes and bloopers that often include the camera panning to the sky, ground, etc. as the cameraman relaxes his arm as they prepare to redo the shoot. Guys, get a tripod, and let the girls do the moving, not the camera. Believe it or not, that is what motion pictures were originally intended to be. (Quit watching MTV and see Hitchcock's film "Rope" to understand how minimal editing gets the viewer to feel he is there watching in person, which is especially important for Girlie videos!)

i bought this cause i had all 4 of the other videos
and this was the worst one the only thing good about it is the death match features and some of the babes but the others suck like the have misplaced nipples and weird stuff and masked horndog and el drunko ruin it dont buy it

Tarzan the Fearless
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (26 October, 1999)
MPAA Rating: Unrated
Director: Robert F. Hill
Average review score:

not even Crabbe on the cover!
I'll leave the discussion of the film to other reviewers, but let me point out that the DVD cover pictured isn't even Buster Crabbe in Tarzan the Fearless 1933. It's Gordon Scott as Tarzan from Tarzan's Greatest Adventure 1959! What does this say about the people putting out this product--forewarned is forearmed!

Tarzan the Fearless (1933)
Don't buy this DVD! The quality of the transfer is really bad. I have a VHS copy of this feature with MUCH more clarity. Wait for someone to do the job right. I really wish Tarzan fans could be afforded the respect of QUALITY DVDs from film producers(this is a not-so-subtle hint to all those producers of future releases).

Buster Crabbe, the ultimate Tarzan
Buster Crabbe is the sexiest actor ever to play the loin clothed Tarzan. The movie though made in 1933, still remains entertaining 68 years later. This entry was originally made as a serial, but spliced together as a movie as well, so it could pit against Jonny Weismuller who was playing Tarzan for MGM at the time. Buster Crabbe reveals his sexy butt in this movie, no actor since has revealed so much! The movie is very straight forward, and has a quaint sense of innocence to it from an era of movies, that has long since gone. The picture is jumpy in parts, but this is to be expected as the movie is 68 years old. The images are sharp, a consistant and steady black and white throughout. Buster Crabbe gives a compelling performance as Tarzan, he makes the character more believable than any actor that has played him since. The original theatrical trailer is also included. So if you're into Tarzan, buy this, as you won't be disappointed. If your curious to see a vintage hunk reveal just a little more than you thought was allowed in those days, then this is for you. Hail Buster Crabbe!!! We love you!!

Spike and Mike's Classic Festival of Animation
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (16 October, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Average review score:

what were they thinking???
I bought this dvd under the false pretenses that it contained THE BEST of spike and mike. FALSE. The cover shows Billy's Balloon which is one of my favorites and the whole reason for my purchasing this dvd, and it isn't even on it. Where's the REAL best of, like beyond grandpa, and yes timmy there is a santa claus? not here. These cartoons are hard enough to find, and when you spend 20 of your hard earned dollars on a product that, overall is incredibly disappointing, it leaves you a little miffed.

Not that bad, but still not that good.
This DVD is not, as advertised, "the finest, the most charming and humorous animated shorts" ever. There are some great Spike & Mike shorts that are missing. Where's "Bob's Birthday", "How To Kiss", or any Aardman or Bruno Bozetto shorts. There are some good shorts however; "Bambi Meets Godzilla", "The Queen's Monastairy", "Slim Pickings", and "Panther". "Bsss" and "Graveyard Jamboree With Mysterious Mose" are just okay. The rest range from medicore ("Son of Bambi Meets Godzilla", "Chicken Coop") to just awful ("Barflies" was the most annoying to me). Hope Spike & Mike releases another, better, funnier DVD.

Pretty Good
I'll start off by saying that this DVD is REALLY weird. Some might find it stupid, however, those that have a good sense of humor will think it's hilarious. I only gave it four stars, not five, because I have not watched every feature in it and so I don't know if the few I haven't watched are as good. The best features are 'Monkey Vs. Robot' which is very funny and weird, and 'Slim Pickings' which is so sad that it literally made me, and a bunch of teenage guys, cry. The other features are all good, too. I highly recommend this DVD.
