I like it
My dad bought this dvd and I wanted to say that I though it was good. We watch it together and talk about the drills. I like the way we can click the remote control (on my XBox)and watch the drills over and over.

Foresight 1 and Forsight 2
I gave my wife Foresight 1 for mother's day and we enjoyed it so much she bought Foresight 2 for me for father's day. Very well done dvd's and very insightful. I especially like watching the famous caddies give their input.

Foresight 2 golf dvd
I totally enjoyed this dvd, it is a good match to Foresight 1. I found the drills to be very good and helped me re-focus on the important issues I face on the course. I have referred back to it many times and I keep the drill book that came with the dvd in my golf bag. I think it's great the way that the knowledge and personalities of the famous caddies are preserved on this dvd.

Foresight 2 Golf DVD "Tools to Evaluate any Golf Course"
Foresight 2 analyzes typical situations encountered on a golf course and features insights from Rees Jones,a renowned golf course architect, former President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and member of the most famous family of architects in the history of golf. Some of the games greatest caddies (Nicklaus, Palmer, Player and Hogan's) provide additional input helping you learn to see the course through the eyes of the architect, the touring professional, and the tour caddy. This dvd provides excellent information for golfers of all levels and has been approved as an Official Instructional Tool of the National Association of Junior Golfers. Very Informative.

This DVD Will Shave Strokes Off Your Game!
Buy this DVD and it will lower your handicap -- I know because that is what it did for me. The tips were easy to follow, concise, and to the point. The variety of instructors is amazing -- if you can't pay to have lessons from Hank Haney like the most of us then here's your best chance! If you're like me and your nickname is "Mulligan" then this DVD will help you out big time. Overall, a very good value.

Great Stuff!
This DVD really did the trick. I am a novice golfer who's constantly inconsistent, but with the aid of this DVD, I was able to break down my swing and vastly improve my fundamentals.

The DVD is thoughtfully laid out, and the lessons are easy to follow. Moreover, the graphics are outstanding. Again, this is a first clasee production, from start to finish.

Now, I look forward to hitting the links and improve my handicap -- as opposed to before, when I didn't know what game I was bringing out there.

Thanks GolfSpan!

Dorf on Golf/Dorf's Golf Bible

You'll Need Band-Aids for This :)
When I first saw Tim Conway in his character role as 'Dorf' on the Carol Burnette Show I thought I'd die with laughter. I wonder if Randy Newman got the idea for 'Short People' from some of Conway's wild routines. His wacky, insane skits of Dorf is a memorable classic. In this video 'Dorf on Golf' Dorf shows us how to play golf. Oh, my! Really? Tahew! Tahew! Tahew! (thank you, Mr. Tuddball) He teaches us to drive, putt-putt and find the 19th hole? His assistant doesn't have a clue what he's doing either. It's a laugh a minute! Also for the fisherman/woman there is a companion video, 'Dorf Goes Fishing.' I'd say forget about the Pesci/Glover film, 'Gone Fishin'.' Go for this! Alot of Conway's natural comic genius can make any dull moment funny. Alot of that was his later work with Don Knotts. Remember 'The Apple Dumpling Gang,' 'Private Eyes' and Prize Fighter.' This has got to Conway's funniest character ever. All his Dorf videos on Golf, Fishing, Baseball, Auto Racing and the Olympic Games are classics to treasure. It's good clean comedy you won't feel guilty in owning.

This Ryder Cup was truly the greatest golf Tournament that I have ever seen. I remember watcing the NBC coverage, and I truly felt that the US couldn't come back. The way they did it was truly unbelievable. I was so happy to here that there was a DVD coming out on the event and went it was released, I immediately bought it. The DVD truly allows you to see how remarkable a comeback it was. It was undoubtedly a comeback for the ages. A must for every fan of U.S. Golf

Yoga for Golfers
Released in DVD by Yoga for Golfers (19 December, 2002)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)

A Big Disappointment - Don't Be Fooled
While there are a handful of useful stretches and poses demonstrated on this DVD, they are presented in a rushed and random manner, cheating the viewer out of the benefits of a real workout. If all you want is a quick stretch before teeing off, this DVD can help, but so can a fitness article in any golf magazine--and for a lot less money.

If you want a total yoga workout that'll tone your mind and body for golf (or any other physical activity), I recommend LIVINGarts Total Yoga.

my back never felt so good
Since watching the dvd and following the exercises I no longer have back pain after 18 holes. My rotation has increased 30%. We love all her tapes.

Excellent choice for the golfing spouse
I purchased this DVD for my husband, a golfer, who was constantly complaining about his back, but had never done any yoga. This product gave him wonderful helpful hints on how to use some yoga poses to help alleviate the pressure in his back. I would recommend this highly for golfers that want to feel better and improve their game!

The Story of Golf
Released in DVD by Ventura Distribution (30 May, 2000)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Tiger Woods
Veteran sportscaster Jim McKay narrates this three-part series on the history of golf and takes us on a journey from its humble beginnings to the multinational, multimillion-dollar franchise that it is today.

Volume 1, The Early Years, examines golf's mysterious and almost mythical beginnings, with commentary and speculation from some of today's top historians of the sport. Beginning with early stick-and-ball games, the episode delves into the history of the equipment and early evolution of the game. We are given great insight into the types of clubs and balls used and hear the stories of long-ago golf legends such as Tom Morris, Charles Macdonald, and Harry Vardon, the sport's first superstar spokesman and commercial endorser.

The second chapter, Golf Comes of Age, introduces us to the growth of the game in America. The beginning of serious tournament play, along with ever-changing technology, created more of an audience for the sport. Golf stars such as Sam Snead and Ben Hogan revitalized the game, and the overwhelming support of women's participation was only pushed forward with the founding of the Ladies Professional Golf Association and the rise of Babe Zaharias.

The Modern Game is the third and final installment of the series, and it follows golf into the television age, right up through the triumphs of Tiger Woods. With Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus taking the reigns, golf evolved from a pastime into an industry. Golfers became course designers, and the sport found its biggest audience ever.

The Story of Golf is a definitive history of a grand sport and instills in any viewer an intense attitude toward the game. As both education and entertainment, this three-tape set hits a hole in one. --Zachary Lively

A comprehensive Story for Golf ... but not much with Tiger!
This video covers a wide scope for golf history. From how to make a feather golf ball to golf course. Golfers can make use of the contents to test other colleagues. One point to be criticized is that there is little to link with Tiger Woods (...) (actually it is Narr. by Jim Mckey). There is only one chapter mentioned Tiger but it also mentioned other great golfers, in similar manner. That's why one star has been eliminated. Dear Tiger fans, please note.

Story of Golf
The Story of Golf is an amazing journey that traces the beginnings of golf through today's game as we know it. It is beautifully shot and edited and you'll love Jim McKay's narration. This is a must have for golfers of any age. Bravo !

Highlights of the 2001 Masters Tournament
Released in DVD by Monarch Home Video (29 May, 2001)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Starring: Tiger Woods and David Duval
Average review score:

Disappointing
I expected a thrilling summary of at least the final day matches, as you would see them on tv, but the DVD just contains selected scenes with no story nor thrill.
There are no major scene selections available. The only part covered in full detail is the ceremony.

Just a copy of the VHS - Bad quality
I love the Masters, and thought that this DVD version would be a great addition to my collection. I was wrong! I have a very fine in home theater with a front projection system that allows the quality of DVD movies to shine. This DVD is no better than just putting a VHS tape player into the projector. Don't waste your money on the DVD. Hopefully the future will bring quality productions on DVD.

Golf Tournament
I enjoy the Masters series. Love the theme music too. Tiger won!

Good Golf is Easy

Good Golf is Easy
Don't waster your money on this DVD. The picture quality and content are both very low quality. The movie's age shows (made in the 80s) and the there are far better instructional golf videos on the market. Whether you are novice or expert, if you want to improve your swing, you are better off spening your money on the driving range than than purchasing this DVD.

It's a dated DVD/Video
It's really not a good investment, because it's and old video, image quality it's not the best and it's not really covering much on the golf instruction. Probably only good for a person who's never played before.

good golf could be better
that's for sure...but it's still definitely a good buy. For what it's worth, I was entertained. I actually watched most of this 3 hour program and did gain valuable insight from a european approach to life -- and how they translate that into their golf game.
