Son of Paleface
Released in DVD by Brentwood Communications (21 November, 2000)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Director: Frank Tashlin
Starring: Bob Hope and Jane Russell
Average review score:

Trigger steals the show!
I bought this dvd for my father for Father's Day, and decided to watch it myself. I loved it as did my 4 year old daughter. The picture and sound quality are fine. Bob Hope is very funny, but I think Trigger the wonder horse steals the show! Trigger dances, fights with Bob over the covers, and just generally one ups Bob at every turn. If you want to see why Roy Rogers loved this horse, watch this movie. Great for the entire family.

Tashlins first flash
of cinematic brilliance was in this blissfully cartoonish western spoof. Bob Hope geeks it up , sharing leading man stat with Roy Rogers, while Jane Russell is mesmerizing as fiery chanteuse criminal. Luminous, alive and flowing with colors.

Excellent DVD of an excellent comedy.
The Brentwood DVD is an excellent way to watch this fun comedy. The picture is razer sharp from 35mm, and the colors are pure and brilliant. I wondered about the low price but the quality is there! And the movie is great, as the other reviewers had said.

GO BABIES!!!

Something to help the kids learn while having fun!!!
My 3 year of daughter loves to sit down and watch Alphabet Road. The unique characters and fun songs keep her attention for hours. Thank you, I could not have asked for a better video for her.

Alphabet Road F is for "farm" is awesome.
Alphabet Road "F is for Farm" is a big hit in our home. It is wonderfully entertaining and engaging. The video is as educational as the best episodes of Sesame Street and the puppets are as endearing, too. My 2 1/2 year old knows the Alphabet Road song by heart and will spontaneously start singing it. We can't wait to buy more episodes. As a busy working mother who values education (and a free moment), I have purchased many other videos and, of all, this is our child's favorite!! I highly recommend it for you and your young child.

Breathing Fire
Released in DVD by Brentwood Communications (20 March, 2001)
MPAA Rating: R (Restricted)
Directors: Rick Mitchell, Lou Kennedy, and Brandon Pender
Average review score:

Not Bad
BREATHING FIRE tells the story of two young martial arts masters, Vietnamese Charlie (Johnathan Ke Quan) and Tony (Eddie Saavedra) who live together as brothers, but actually are not. In truth, Tony's father, Michael Moore (Jerry Trimble) killed Charlie's mother back in 'Nam, and his brother David (Ed Neil) gave Michael a nice guilt trip and forced him to to raise Charlie, then an infant, as his own son. That has been kept from Charlie long into his teen years.

In fact, Michael hides alot of things from his family. He and his chopsocky gang have robbed a bank of several million dollars. It was successful in part because the bank executive Peter Stern (Drake Diamond) is on their side. After locking up their stolen haul, the bad guys destroy the keys to their vault, but not before making impressions of them in a plastic pizza and dividing it equally to keep the honor amongst themselves.

After Stern decides to turn himself and the gang into the cops, the gang shows up and kills him and his wife, but thier daughter Annie (Laura Hamilton) escapes with her father's slice of the pizza and heads to David, Charlie, and Tony, who agree to protect her.

BREATHING FIRE, like so many other "kickboxing" martial arts movies, has a cast that is composed mostly of real-life martial arts champions. That's a wise choice to satisfy martial arts fans. Those in search of riveting, oscar-worthy performances, however, I would advise to steer clear. PKC Kickboxing Champ Jerry Trimble may have a well-molded physique and that overall look of pure evil, (He was also the bad guy in the kick-{ing}Jet Li 1989 Hong Kong movie, THE MASTER, which is now finally seeing a stateside release) but it doesn't much help him. Trimble is so lacking in any acting ability, his performance in BREATHING FIRE achieves somekind of benchmark : it may not be possible for another martial arts champion to give a worse performance.

However, who does watch these movies for their crummy dialouge and tacky acting? Not me, but we do watch for the martial arts action, which BREATHING FIRE has plenty of. It's so loaded with hyperactive karate mayhem, it more than makes up for the lousy acting. BREATHING FIRE certainly lives up to it's title.

Very Good
This movie was good. VERY GOOD! I am not saying it was a normal very good movie. IT WAS A TRULY VERY GOOD MOVIE!!

BRUCE LEE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In "Fury of the Dragon", Britt Ried alias The Green Hornet (Van Williams) is a masked crime fighter (almost like a superhero). His butler and sidekick, Kato (Bruce Lee) is a kung fu maniac who you don't want to mess with. 1976, Dr William Beudine.

5 Because It's BRUCE!!!!!
If your a 70's TV show fan like BatMan & GreenHornet this is great! but if your a BRUCE LEE fan you have to get this for your collection! This shows us Bruce starting his fame in the US.With only a few films of Bruce out there you have to have this. I relly never thought much of the Green Hornet Show I liked Batman Better, but just to watch Bruce in action you got to see it! All the Green Hornet Shows Should be relesed on DVD thats 26 eposodes i beleve. Bruce also had cameos in all these shows & movies that should be relesed on DVD, THE MARLOW,BATMAN(70's),Here comes the Bride,Longstreet(3eps.),and Ironside all these 70 shows should be on one DVD! If some one is hearing me you would make MONEY! with Bruce Lee fans!

GREAT SET
I think that this is a great collection of urban films...one of the best I've seen so far. My particular favorites are THE MURDER MEN and BANG, both by the hot and stylish up and coming film maker King Jeff. The dialogue is great in both film and the wit is there. Both are very serious stories with great acting and directing. BANG has a great plot and one of the coolest sound tracks(by King Jeff, El Timo and Gorio) I've ever heard. Great bonus footage for both films as well. The other films are entertaining as well. Great collection.

the best king of cage so far
this soon will replace ufc as the best promotion in the United States. Great fights. All the fighters go for the win not the draw. However, it still does not compare to Pride.
